WHAT IS QUARTZ

Quartz stone, usually what we call quartz stone, is a new type of stone material artificially synthesized from more than 90% quartz crystals plus resin and other trace elements. It is a large-sized plate pressed by a special machine under certain physical and chemical conditions, and its main material is quartz.

01. Not easy to break

The quartz content of quartz stone is as high as 94%. Quartz crystal is a natural mineral with the hardness second only to diamond in nature. Its surface hardness can reach up to 7.5 on the Mohs scale, which is much greater than the sharp tools such as knives and spatulas used in the kitchen and will not be scratched by them.

02. Not easy to pollute

Quartz stone is a composite material made under vacuum conditions that is consistent inside and outside, dense and non-porous. Its quartz surface has good corrosion resistance to the acid and alkali in the kitchen. Liquid substances used in daily life will not penetrate into its interior. Liquids placed on the surface for a long time can be wiped off with a rag using clean water or cleaning agents such as Jie Erliang. If necessary, the residue on the surface can be scraped off with a blade.

03. Not easy to age

The shiny and bright surface of quartz stone has undergone more than 30 complex polishing processes. It will not be scratched by knives and spatulas, will not be penetrated by liquid substances, and will not cause yellowing and discoloration. Daily cleaning only needs to be rinsed with clean water, which is simple and easy. Even after long-term use, its surface is as bright as a new countertop, without maintenance and care.

04. Strong fire resistance

Natural quartz crystals are typical fire-resistant materials with a melting point of over 1,300 degrees. Quartz stone made of 94% natural quartz is completely flame-retardant and will not burn due to contact with high temperatures. It also has high-temperature resistance that artificial stone and other countertops cannot match.

05. Non-toxic and harmless

The surface of quartz stone is smooth, flat and scratch-free. The dense and non-porous material structure makes it impossible for bacteria to hide. It can be in direct contact with food and is safe and non-toxic.
