Product Introduction

Silvia cream marble is a beige marble quarried in Egypt and cut at the Xiamen works of YoYo Stone into slabs, tiles and fabricated tops. The face is a cream ground sitting just warm of neutral, crossed by faint beige veining that does not run as a line, so the stone has no direction to follow. That absence of direction decides how the material should be bought. In silvia beige marble the joint between two panels stays quiet, and a long floor or a tall cladding run reads as a single surface without a vein callout. The same quietness is the exposure: two blocks separated by a few degrees of beige look identical on the pallet, and the step appears only when panels from both stand in the same light.

Beige marble is not rejected at the saw but on the bench, where panels from one lot are racked upright face out under one lamp and the buyer walks the row from left to right. A difference that no individual slab carries becomes visible the moment two of them stand in the same frame, which is why nothing here can be signed off one piece at a time, however clean that piece looks.
