Product Introduction
Products Introduction

Tropical Green Headstone is cut from a Precambrian green, grey and black migmatite with small red garnet speckles, quarried near Ancode in Kerala, India and processed at our Xiamen works. It also trades as Kerala Green, Imperial Green and Verde Tropical, and under the European Standard it must be nominated as a migmatite rather than a granite. Figure and colour vary block to block, so the die, base and kerbs of one memorial are cut from a single block group and dry-laid as a set before crating. As a china stone factory we finish tropical green granite headstone work in polished, honed, flamed, sandblasted and bush-hammered surfaces and carve to your drawing: Irish and UK uprights, Polish slab-and-kerb sets, Romanian crosses and Russian desks, all factory customized.

Quality Standards
On a memorial the buyer's tolerance is zero on three things and none of them is visible in a sample photograph: a colour step between the die, the base and the kerbs of one set, lettering that does not sit where the proof put it, and a carved section that arrives broken. All three are closed out in the workshop before the crate is shut.

01
Raw block screening
Blocks carrying latent iron deposits or micro-fissures are rejected before cutting, because an iron pocket is what turns yellow on a polished face after two winters. Blocks are screened so the finished work holds a bulk density above 2.65 g/cm3.
02
Carving depth and gloss verification
Relief carving is run on pneumatic chisels to a minimum 12–15mm depth so the shadow line reads in overcast cemetery light, and flat polished faces are checked against the approved sample at 90+ gloss.
03
Dry-lay assembly and lettering proof
Every set is dry-laid on the factory floor and assembled on stainless steel pins to +/-1mm before packing, with the lettering proof checked against the stone rather than against the layout file.
04
Anti-shock crating for carved work
Carved rings, crosses and relief panels are supported with custom-profiled EPE foam inserts and the die is braced vertically inside an internally reinforced, ISPM-15 fumigated timber crate.
Products Application
CNC machining Manufactruing process
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet consectetur, adipisicing elit
Traditional cemetery plots and municipal memorial gardens
Upright monuments with a polished face and deeply sandblasted lettering on a matching rock-pitched base, supplied as a uniform run where a council or a diocese is buying a whole section on strict dimensional and budget limits. This is the volume end of the business and it is where a repeatable set size matters more than a bespoke design.

Family estate memorials and paired stones
Multi-plot memorials and matching pairs for a husband and wife, where the die, base, kerbs and a vase all have to read as one green. A tropical green tombstone set is cut from one block group and ordered as one order, never years apart, because the block that matched in 2026 may not be on the floor in 2031.
FAQ
Everything You Want To Know

01. How do you keep the die, base and kerbs the same green?
02. How does a tropical green headstone hold up to frost and coastal weather?
03. How are carved headstones packed, and what is the container weight limit?
04. Can you sandblast lettering in Irish, Polish, Romanian or Cyrillic scripts?
05. How much cutting loss should we allow on a headstone order?
Allow 10–15%. Memorial slabs are cut 50mm to 200mm thick from the block rather than from a thin slab, and the offcut from a die is sized for kerbs, vases and bookstands on the same order instead of being discarded and re-ordered.
