Shop drawing and template check
The carcass dimensions, the sink and hob models and the datum for the cutout are read off the client's drawing or template before anything is cut, and the set-out is confirmed back to the buyer, because a cutout is the one feature that cannot be corrected after casting and cutting.

Tops going to one address are cut from one production batch where the schedule allows, so the run does not change tone between the first bathroom and the last one on the same floor.
Cutout, radius and tap hole
The opening is cut to the sink model being fitted, the internal corners are radiused rather than cut square, and the tap holes are drilled at the standard 35mm to the same drawing, since a square internal corner and a mis-set tap are the two failures a fabricator cannot hide.
